~"Trabucco" from Gargano (Apulia, Italy)

The machine by the sea is an ancient instrument used by old Apulia fishermen. It is entirely built by wood logs and long arms with a central large fishing net. It looks like a big wooden spider ready to jump into the sea or to set out for a battle.

The water catchment in the Waitakere ranges the west of Auckland NZ. The scene is easily associated with milk flowing over a cup and slowly into a saucer. It's very interesting.
