- Black Angkor Wat

The Angkor Wat Sanctuary for Hindu is facing west, which is different from the normal Hindu sanctuary location. However, this allow Angkor Wat Sacnctuary to have different sceneries, which is Black and Golden Angkor Wat during sunrise and sunset.

We took these photos before sunrise. The environment is very quiet and dark, and the Sanctuary is not clear in sight. Visitors wake up very early to view this Black Angkor Wat. However, when the light from the sky made different colors of clouds, you are amazed by the different sceneries of Angkor Wat. It seems the God's way of comforting the suffering people and gives them courage. You may pray to God's mercy for peace of world and believe in the unknown power somewhere.

In April, the Sun will rise from the back of the main tower, and make the Sanctuary more glorious. We arrived in mid Aug. and the Sun was at the left hand side of the towers.
