~THE BEAUTY OF SORROW--The Vanishing Glacier

Greenland, the land where the ice meets the sea. As carving mountain valleys, the beautiful curved slopes of the glacier is contrasted by the ice flows and the magnificent iceburgs whose shapes continuously change over time as the sea melts them.

The ice was particularly spectacular due to the effects of global warming increasing the quantity of ice breaking off the glaciers.
